Cooper's Three Months Old!

Coop de loop has turned a quarter year old now, but he's still not sleeping through the night! Oh well...hopefully he will soon. There's really not much more news, except for he's getting bigger and bigger and loves to do baseball swings :). Look for new pictures coming soon!

Well...it's been over a month, so I guess another update is due. Cooper's doing very well, but the last couple of nights he hasn't slept a wink. This causes momma to not sleep, and if she's not happy, then oh well...at least I'm still getting sleep :). j/k - I love you Amber!! She is a terrific mom. If you remember, please pray that she gets over he recovery issues sooner rather than later. That's all on the Isted front. I hope all is well with you and your family. I'll have some new pictures up in the next couple of days.

New Pics/Update

Hey Everyone!

Well, it's been almost a month since I've updated the page, but I guess I have an excuse :). Cooper Trooper is still doing well, and he's actually doing a lot better now since he's almost over his cold. We've also learned some tricks of how to keep him from being fussy, so that has helped a lot with our sanity. I can't believe he's already over one month old - I guess time flies when you don't get much sleep. Anywho, there's a new slideshow up of some good pics that Rachel took when he was about one week old, along with a couple others. We'll have to take some new photos and post them up later, so you can see how much he's been growing. He really likes to eat and he's gettin' a big belly!

I just wanted to add that Cooper is an amazing gift from God. I forgot to put that yesterday, but we are so blessed and so thankful that God would give us such a wonderful little boy. God is certaintly good!! Also, thank you so much for all of your prayers and support. To everyone who has prayed and/or helped us out in any way, we are truly grateful. We have the most wonderful family and friends in the world! Another couple of things that you can pray for, if you'd like, are that Cooper's left eye will be okay. The pediatrician said that there's a speck in his pupil that could be a cataract, so he has to be checked out by a pediatric opthomologist (sp?). Also, Amber has been having some recovery issues, so just pray that those will get worked out sooner rather than later, and that she'll get plenty of rest. That's all for now. After our camera gets charged, I'll be working on getting a video put up. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again for all y'all have done!!

Weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. with a length of 19 3/4, Cooper Lee Isted has finally arrived!! He was born at 2:48pm on January 22, 2009. The first pictures are being put up now...a lot more to come later!

Cooper's Induction

Greetings!

Well, we've decided that since Cooper won't come out on his own, we'll go ahead and have him induced this Friday, January 23rd. That will make four family member birthdays within eight days: January 21st - Adam (Amber's cousin), January 25th - Alan's grandmom, January 28th - Alan's dad. Of course, Kathryn's (sister-in-law) birthday is also in January but earlier in the month. His appointment is at 7:30 AM, but no telling when he'll come out.

Awaiting Cooper's Arrival

Well, we're about four days away from Cooper's due date, but Amber's hoping he comes sooner (and I am too). We've been doing everything they say to do to speed up the process, but nothing seems to be working. The nursery is all set and we have everything we we need for him thanks to everyone being so generous!! Once he's born, we'll post pictures and videos on this blog, so you may want to bookmark the page.
